Ecommerce Website Design and Development for Growing Brands

Online stores built to load fast on a phone, make checkout simple and take payments the way your customers already pay, with a product catalogue your team can manage without a developer.

An online store has one main job: turn a visitor into a paid order with as little friction as possible. That means products people can find, pages that load quickly on mobile data, a checkout that does not ask for more than it needs, and payment options your customers already trust. It also has to be easy for your team to run day to day, from adding a new product to changing a price before a sale. We design and build ecommerce websites around those jobs, for brands that have outgrown social media selling or a store that no longer keeps up.

This page explains who our ecommerce website design and development service is for, the problems we usually fix, which platforms and payments we work with, how a project runs and what it costs.

Who ecommerce website design is for

We build for product brands, retailers moving online, distributors and dealers who want a direct sales channel, and businesses that sell a focused range of products to a local market. You are a good fit if one of these sounds familiar:

  • You sell through Facebook, Instagram or WhatsApp, and every order means answering the same questions about price, sizes and delivery by hand.
  • You have a store, but it is slow on phones and many visitors leave before the product page finishes loading.
  • Shoppers add items to the cart and then abandon checkout, and you are not sure why.
  • Your products do not show up on Google, so every sale depends on paid ads or social posts.
  • Your current platform limits the design or the features you need, and every change needs a developer.

The problems online stores run into

Most stores we review lose sales in the same few places. Fixing them matters more than any visual trend.

Slow pages on mobile

Most shoppers browse on a phone, often on mobile data. Heavy images, too many apps and scripts, and bloated themes make product pages crawl, and every second of waiting costs orders. Speed is something we plan for from the first design, not a fix at the end.

A checkout with too many steps

Forced account creation, surprise delivery fees at the last step, long forms and missing payment options are the usual reasons people abandon a cart. A good checkout shows the full cost early, offers guest checkout and asks only for what you need to deliver the order.

Product pages that do not answer questions

If a shopper cannot see clear photos, sizes, specifications, delivery times and the returns policy, they message you or leave. Strong product pages answer those questions up front and make the buy button the obvious next step.

Products Google cannot read

Duplicate product descriptions, missing structured data, thin category pages and slow loading all keep a store out of search results. We cover the basics of fixing visibility in why Google can't find your business.

What we build for online stores

Every store is scoped around what you sell and how you deliver it. A typical build includes:

  • A mobile-first design built around your own product photography and brand, not a generic theme.
  • Category and collection pages with filters for the attributes your customers care about, such as size, colour, brand or price.
  • Product pages with image galleries, variants, specifications, delivery and returns information, and reviews where you collect them.
  • A short checkout with guest ordering, clear delivery costs, discount codes and order confirmation emails.
  • Payment gateway setup for card payments and the local methods your market expects, plus cash on delivery if you offer it.
  • WhatsApp and click-to-call buttons for shoppers who want to ask a question before they buy.
  • An editor where your team manages products, prices, banners and promotions without a developer.
  • SEO foundations: Schema.org Product markup, clean URLs, unique titles and descriptions, an XML sitemap and conversion tracking so you can see which products and channels sell.

Platforms we work with

There is no single best ecommerce platform. A hosted platform such as Shopify is often the fastest way to launch a standard store and handles payments, stock and orders out of the box. When you need a custom design, unusual product logic or the fastest possible pages, we build a custom storefront on Next.js, with Sanity for content and hosting on Vercel, connected to the commerce and payment services you choose. We recommend a platform on the discovery call and explain the monthly running costs of each option, so there are no surprises after launch.

Product websites we built

Our flagship online store case study is still in build, and we will add it here when it launches. In the meantime, these projects show how we approach selling products online.

Bismillah Auto: a first online sales channel for a GPS tracker dealer

Bismillah Auto, the local dealer for MotoLock GPS trackers in Chapainawabganj, relied on walk-ins and word of mouth, while motorcycle owners searching online found competitors from other cities.

We built a conversion-focused product page on Next.js with feature breakdowns, pricing and a WhatsApp-first order button, plus Schema.org Product markup. Rich results with star ratings and price appeared in Google within two weeks, the page reached page one for its main local search within 30 days, and WhatsApp enquiries converted at 35% in the first month. Saudi Garej: bilingual product listings for a car service business

For a 24/7 car service garage in Saudi Arabia, we built a fully bilingual Arabic and English site with right-to-left layout, product listings for tyres and oils, a featured special offer and a WhatsApp-first contact flow. It reached both local and expat customers from day one. Read the full Saudi Garej case study.

How an ecommerce project runs

Our process is short and predictable:

  • Discovery call: we learn what you sell, how many products you have, where you deliver and how customers pay today.
  • Platform and scope: we recommend a platform and payment setup, then give you a fixed price and delivery date before work starts.
  • Content: you send product data, photos and brand files. We help structure categories and product page copy.
  • Design and build: we design the key templates, build the store and connect payments, shipping rules, emails and analytics.
  • Test orders: we run real test purchases on phones and desktops with each payment method before anything goes live.
  • Launch: we connect your domain, submit the sitemap to Google and train your team to manage products and orders.

After launch, optional monthly care plans cover hosting support, security updates, uptime monitoring and small content changes. They are quoted by scope.

Ecommerce website price range and timeline

Our packages are listed on the pricing page, and each price is a starting point that grows with scope:

  • Starter Site, from $1,500: up to 5 pages, mobile-responsive design, basic on-page SEO and a contact form, delivered in 10 days. It suits a single product or a small range sold through WhatsApp enquiries.
  • Growth Package, from $3,500: up to 10 pages, advanced SEO with a blog, a 90+ Lighthouse score and conversion tracking, delivered in 14 days. It suits a focused catalogue that needs to rank and convert.
  • Premium Build, from $6,000: unlimited pages, custom features and integrations, and e-commerce ready, with delivery quoted by scope. Most full online stores with a cart, checkout and payment gateway fit here.

These are one-time project fees. Payment is 50% upfront and 50% on launch. Platform subscriptions, apps and payment processing fees are paid separately to those providers.

Frequently Asked Questions

How much does an ecommerce website cost with MotionBite?

Our packages start at $1,500 for the Starter Site, $3,500 for the Growth Package and $6,000 for the Premium Build, which is the package built for full online stores. Catalogue size, payment gateways, a second language and integrations with stock or delivery tools decide where your store lands. You get a fixed quote before work starts.

How long does it take to build an online store?

Smaller sites on the Starter and Growth packages are delivered in 10 and 14 days. Full stores on the Premium Build are scheduled by scope, because the timeline depends on how many products, payment methods and integrations you need. We give you a delivery date with the quote.

Which ecommerce platform should I use?

It depends on your catalogue, your team and how much you want to customise. A hosted platform such as Shopify suits many brands that want to start quickly, while a custom storefront on Next.js gives you full control over design and speed. We recommend one on the discovery call and explain the running costs of each.

Which payment methods can my store accept?

We connect the payment gateway that fits your market, such as card payments, PayPal or local options your customers already use, plus cash on delivery if you offer it. We confirm which gateways are available for your country and business type during scoping.

Can my team add products and change prices without a developer?

Yes. Products, prices, stock notes, collections and banners are managed in an editor your staff can learn in an hour, so routine updates never wait on a developer.

Will my products show up on Google?

Every store we build includes on-page SEO basics: fast pages, clean titles and descriptions, and Product structured data so Google can show prices and ratings in search. For Bismillah Auto, rich results with star ratings and price appeared within two weeks of launch. No agency can guarantee rankings, but these foundations give your products a fair chance.
